A Short Introduction

So, if you've read any of my recent articles about the current transits we are experiencing, you must have noticed that they are lacking in one thing my old articles used to include: horoscopes, about how these transits will affect each sign! That's why I wrote this article with the hopes of making up for it. That being said, please take it with a grain of salt, and I'd recommend reading it for your Rising Sign, first and foremost, but you can also read for your Sun and/or your Moon sign.

This article focuses primarily on the transits of Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Aries (with Neptune there too, although recently both planets have gone retrograde into Pisces again), which I'd consider to be the two transpersonal planets, the giants of traditional astrological cosmology. On that note, it is perhaps important to consider too that this is the first Jupiter-Saturn square since the Great Conjunction of December 2020 that occurred at the first degree of Aquarius that began a new 200-year cycle. It may be interesting to look back on what happened around that time (particularly in relation to where Aquarius is in your chart) and compare with current events to check and see if there are any related patterns playing out.

Aries

You're not normally known for being the biggest homebody of the zodiac, dear Aries, but with Jupiter in Cancer transiting your 4th house, you might be crawling into your shell more than usual as your home is feeling like your happy place. Of course, this could mean moving to a new home too, even feeling like the world itself is your home! The emotional energy of the crab makes it an especially good time for connecting with family members, expanding your home or family, and learning about your ancestry, on a spiritual level.

Meanwhile, Saturn has entered your sign, Aries, and while this energy may feel heavy and restrictive, the spiritual perspective indicated by Neptune in your 1st house may help you to see things in a more positive light. While you're on-the-go energy is often to be admired, sometimes you can rush things, act impulsively or get bored just as soon as you got inspired. This transit is very helpful here, aiding you in the cultivation & strengthening of responsibility and self-discipline, which let's face it, are kind of necessary for getting things done, especially if we want to actually finish them this time!

Taurus

Are you feeling more extroverted, Taurus? This may be due to Jupiter in Cancer's transit through your 3rd house, of communication, which is not only good for coming out of your shell, but more importantly, the sign of the crab is known for the development of deeper & more meaningful connection with others. Additionally, this transit is really strong for learning new wisdom as well as new skills, expanding your mind beyond its previous limits. This can be done through travel, including more local travel, as spiritual & ancestral knowledge can be found in what seem like the most usual & mundane of all places, and/or education, or religious/spiritual practices. You could be receiving knowledge intuitively at an ever-increasing rate, and it may seem like these downloads are entering your brain straight from the universal source itself! Your relationship with your sibling(s), extended family and/or neighbors may also be very positive, or improved upon, during the course of this transit.

On the other hand, with Saturn in your 12th house, you may simultaneously feeling restricted without even knowing why. This transit can sometimes feel isolating, sometimes even indicative of exile, hospitalization or imprisonment. That said, it is unlikely that this transit is that serious. As the house of "self-undoing" it is more likely these restrictions are self-imposed. However, this solitude can be beneficial in some ways too, helping you to cut off hidden enemies in your life and/or relationships that have been not been meaningful or supportive to your growth. Meanwhile, this transit can also help you to get more serious about your spiritual practice and/or dreaming and sleep practices even - for example, meditation and/or lucid dreaming!

Gemini

You're about to hit the jackpot , Gemini! All that hard work is finally about to pay off, with Jupiter in Cancer transiting your 2nd house of money and possessions. It's a better time than usual to play the lottery or make money passively. You could be also be promoted, possibly or experience a financial windfall. Opportunities to increase your finances may be all around you and you may find yourself in some serendipitous occurrences - you just have to make sure that you're tuned in!

Meanwhile, as chatty and sociable as you normally are, with Saturn in Aries transiting your 11th house of friends, you may find yourself becoming a little bit more introverted than usual. While some of you might be lonely, it's also possible that you enjoy your solitude. With Neptune, a planet associated with spiritual and unconditional love, in Aries, as well, this may not necessarily be a bad thing. You could be limiting your social circle for the purposes of deepening those most heartful, meaningful and authentic friendships, as recent circumstances may have made it clearer who your true friends are.

Cancer

It's your year, Cancer! With Jupiter, the planet of luck, growth and expansion, in your 1st house, you're like a crab coming out of its shell and ready to party. Jupiter is exalted in your sign so especially abundant here, and this transit shows you experiencing an increase in happiness and energy along with a more positive and optimistic attitude than usual. Magic seems to be taking place all around you and you may find that fate is directing you toward your higher calling. It's a good time for developing or deepening your spiritual practice and/or heightening your intuition. It is also a good time for traveling, educating yourself, going back to school and doing anything you can to expand your mind!

Of course, Saturn in Aries is transiting your 10th house, which may add pressure to your experience in the work place. While this doesn't always have to mean a demotion, and can actually alternatively mean a promotion, this does suggest that an extra heavy weight of responsibility may be placed on your career at the moment. This may be stressful, especially when in such a competitive sign as Aries, and you want to make sure that you have everything it takes to succeed. That being said, it's important not to burn yourself out. What success is success if it only comes at the expense of happiness? The combination of this transit with Jupiter in your sign helps to remind you of what's truly most important.

Leo

With Saturn in Aries transiting your 9th house of foreign travel, you may feel blocked from going to those faraway places that you've already dreamed of visiting, or maybe this new country you've found yourself in is a more difficult environment than you expected it to be. Learning and academics may be feeling extra rigorous at time, and if you're in school or studying is a big part of your life, you may find this work extra challenging. It's possible that you may be questioning your spiritual beliefs at this time too, if not getting more serious about them. That said, it's not all bad and Neptune shows that you may even feel that a higher force in guiding you to where you want to go.

These themes are reflected by Jupiter in Cancer's transit through your 12th house. While on the surface, luck and wisdom may feel out of reach, this shows that on a more intuitive and even subconscious level, you are highly tapped in. While the traditional logical approach may not be working for you as well it usually does, the answers to your questions might very well be found inside your dreams or in the least expected of places. This is a good transit for meditation, reflection, spiritual development and enjoying your time spend in solitude. You're very creative, Leo, and with the power of your imagination, you can go anywhere.

Virgo

I know getting stereotyped as neurotic is typical for you, Virgo, and honestly getting a bit old, but with Saturn (and Neptune!) in Aries transiting your 8th house, you may truly feel a little bit more crazier than usual. This transit can heighten one's sense of loss, sadness, and/or anxiety but it can be good for healing from it too, and who knows? Transmuting this pain may even be key to your success.

While we're on the topic of success, Jupiter, the planet of luck and abundance, in Cancer means you're likely going to have a lot of it this year! It's your 11th house of friends and supporters, as well as community, so your social circle may be expanding and you may find you have a lot more support than usual. This is a good transit for making friends, especially ones that expand our horizons or broaden our worldviews in some way. These friendships might feel serendipitous and/or benefit you in all areas of life.

Libra

You're known for your love of romance and your relational skills, dear Libra. However, with Saturn (and Neptune!) in Aries transiting your 7th house of partnership, there may be some trouble in paradise. Some of you might be going through a break up, a period of fights/arguments or a rough patch with your partner. Otherwise, it might be that you're going through a period of loneliness or isolation. However, stay strong because if it is meant to endure, it will and if not, it is to teach you a good lesson and clear the way for something else that's more authentic and true. Alternatively, this could narrow your options of partners down and bring commitment into your life too, maybe even leading to marriage after a long period of singlehood.

Meanwhile, with the lucky Jupiter in Cancer transiting your 10th house, you may be channeling your creative and passionate spirit into your career instead! This could bring an abundance of opportunities into your life that you may have never thought possible. Your path may be guided by synchronicities and you could succeed by being in the right place at the right time. You could receive a promotion or in any case, lots of attention and recognition in your chosen field. Some of you might want to expand your horizons with a career change, maybe one that's more personal or meaningful to you, like starting your own business, or maybe by studying something new, furthering your skills and going back to school.

Scorpio

As competitive as you are Scorpio, even you have your limits. With (and Neptune) in Aries transiting your 6th house, you may find work is much harder than usual and you're struggling to keep up with your usual daily routine. Since this is a house associated with illness, for some of you, this could even be about suffering from a health issue and needing to prioritize keeping well (and this is a very strong and beneficial time to do that!) and devoting more time to health and wellness. This is perhaps a good time for reexamining your current habits and reorganizing your life in a way that's better suited to your needs and fulfilling your best potential.

Meanwhile, the lucky nature of Jupiter in Cancer transiting your 9th house is also here to help you do that. This is a good transit for learning all kinds of things and you may feel like information is coming at you intuitively, as if being downloaded right from the universal source itself. This is the house of education as well as philosophy and religion, so you may be going to school to receive a comprehensive and meaningful academic education that can help you succeed but you could also be expanding your worldview through otherwise, such as by studying religion, philosophy or spirituality and deepening your spiritual practices. This is also the house of travel and some of you might even be luck enough to experience new cultures abroad! If so, these trips or moves may be beneficial for you, deeply meaningful, education and even divinely guided!

Sagittarius

Your optimism and sense of humor help you to find the joy and wisdom in everything, Sagittarius! That said, with Saturn (and Neptune) in Aries transiting your 5th house of fun and creativity, life may feel more boring or difficult to you than normally, with work becoming a heavy burden of responsibility with little time for joy. If you have children, it could be that you're having difficulty finding time to spend with them, or maybe you want kids but finding it hard to have them. This transit may also indicate a creative blockage of sorts, but whatever it is, you can get through it and find that sense of childlike wonder and joy, anyway, perhaps even in the most unexpected places. This could be through developing more serious or focused interests or hobbies or devotion to your creative passions.

Meanwhile, your ruling planet, Jupiter is helped by being in the sign of its exaltation, Cancer. However, it's also in your 8th house, which can be a painful place, sometimes even indicative of loss or debt. That said, this is a lucky planet that helps you to find the meaning and positivity in such feelings and experiences, as dark and painful as they might be. Perhaps this combination of transits can help you transmute this negativity into something more healing and/or creative!

Capricorn

Love is in the air for you, Capricorn, or maybe, with Jupiter in the sign of Cancer, in the 7th house of relationships, it feels more like you're falling deeply underneath the water? Either way, this transit puts the focus on your relationships. While this usually does mean growth in romance, and a positive outlook when it comes to dating, it may help to expand your social circle more generally too. You may be attracting others like a magnet now, and the connections you form are likely to be meaningful ones that bring you wisdom and knowledge. Of course, romance is especially relevant and it is common for many people meet their soulmates and/or get married during this transit. All in all, you're coming out of your shell - or at least making room for others to join you inside - and opening up your heart.

That said, with your ruling planet, Saturn, in the 4th house, the shell of your own home may be where the stress is at the moment. You may feel stuck, restricted or pressured in some way, motivating you to look outside and meet new people in ways that you might not normally. This could be a good time, maybe, for moving to new place, traveling, or healing from family problems as well as fixing or re-designing things around the house.

Aquarius

You're known for being gregarious and friendly, dear Aquarius, sometimes maybe even a little eccentric or silly. However, Saturn (with Neptune) in Aries is transiting your 3rd house of communication, bringing a more serious tone to your conversations and an academic sense of rigor to your search for information. Your social circles may become smaller than usual, limited to those connections that really truly matter. Matters relating to siblings, neighbors, extended family, your neighborhood and short travels might also be affected during the course of this transit.

Meanwhile, Jupiter in Cancer is bringing its luck and abundance to your 6th house of health and wellness. This may help you to develop a more beneficial and fulfilling daily routine or work flow, one that is actually truly meaningful to you. Your physical fitness and emotional wellbeing may both improve throughout the course of this transit and/or become more of a focus for you. Holistic or spiritual approaches to wellness may become especially relevant for you, and you might expand your ideas and broaden your horizons about what these things mean and what practices to include as a regular part of your daily life.

Pisces

Sure, they might say you're a daydreamer Pisces, but this vivid imagination is a very positive quality and now is a great time to put it to some good use! With your ruling planet, Jupiter, transiting your 5th house of fun & creativity, you're quite the powerhouse of ideas. This is the house of children as well, this could be a very fertile time for you, so positive if you are looking to get pregnant, but having kids does not appeal to you, don't worry because this fertility might also be metaphorical and this could be a great time to spend with the kids you do have too, especially since Jupiter's in Cancer, the sign of the lucky planet's exaltation, which is associated with home & family. Overall, this transit puts more of an emphasis on enjoyment, recreation and relaxation in life, and if you're an artist of any kind (and I'm sure you are, even if you don't realize it yet!) it can be a good time for crafting your ideas into something tangible, experiences, emotions and memories working hand in hand with your magical imagination to create something beautiful!

Meanwhile, with Saturn leaving your sign for Aries should also provide you with some much needed relief! That said, this isn't without its own challenges. In your 2nd house of money and possessions, it is possible that this transit could bring about some financial anxiety, and Saturn's conjunct to Neptune might make things feel especially nebulous. It's possible this may put somewhat of a downer on your dreams of living a creative & fun life. However, keep up the faith, and use the energy of this transit to help motivate you into putting your amazing ideas into action. Instead of letting the need to make a living limit you from doing the things you enjoy, why not make a living by doing the things you enjoy instead?

Conclusion

Please take these horoscopes with a grain of salt. All in all, these will not affect everyone in the same way or to the same extent. Those with placements in the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) will be most intensely affected, while those with placements in the other water signs (Pisces and Scorpio) for Jupiter or other fire signs (Sagittarius and Leo) for Saturn may be more positively affected by this transit, as well. In any case, you want to look at what house Cancer and Aries are placed in your birth chart (and also look to Pisces & Sagittarius for which houses Jupiter rules, as well as Capricorn & Aquarius for what houses Saturn rules) to see what area(s) of life you'll receive the most benefits from as well as which area(s) you might struggle with at the moment. To look deeper into how these transits will affect you, personally, it would best help to book a reading. You can book a reading with me by clicking here.
